In June 1998 Blue Peter presenters Katy Hill and Richard Bacon buried a time capsule at the site of the Millennium Dome. (now the O2 arena) The capsule was filled with items suggested by Blue Peter viewers. In February 2017 the capsule was accidentally dug up by construction workers, 33 years early. Before its contents along with new items suggested by today's viewers of the programmes are put into storage at The National Archives. The 1998 capsule is going on tour around the UK. Its first port of call was Birmingham and it was here that I caught up with Katy Hill for Project 161018.
